• Analyse comfort hours for naturally ventilated spaces as per ASHRAE Std 55-2017
• Model daylight & glare control and assess the impact on building load
• Discuss the trade-off between comfort and energy use
• Calculate Solar PV requirements for your project
• Work with spreadsheets to process simulation results
• Translate simulation outputs for design inputs
• Develop custom charts and graphs to communicate the result
• Get hands-on experience on OpenStudio/SketchUp modelling platform

Prerequisite: Basic working 2D modeling is essential. This course is offered for an intermediate learning level and hence basic working knowledge of OpenStudio is expected. Basic understanding of modelling & simulation in OpenStudio will be covered briefly as a refresher.
